Packaging Information
​
We buy our packaging from noissue - a company specialising in eco-friendly bespoke packaging. For every order, we place they plant trees for us in areas of need.
Our tissue and stickers are made from FSC Certified, Acid-Free paper printed using Soy-based inks.
FSC Certified
The FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products that make up our printed tissue paper are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. FSC forest management standards are developed at an international level, and are then adapted to individual countries’ legal, social, and geographical settings, through national standards.
Acid Free Paper
Our personalized tissue is made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated during processing. It is also lignin- and sulfur-free, meaning that our ink won’t transfer from the tissue and the paper won’t leave behind any of these chemicals when decomposing.
Soy-based Inks
Soy inks are an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based inks, made from soybeans, a renewable resource. While soy inks are slower to dry than many inks, the process produces more vibrant colors as well as having the added benefit of not leaving behind petroleum based products when decomposing. Finally, soy inks have low levels of VOCs, reducing air pollution during the drying process.
Our tape is made from 100% Recycled FSC Certified, Water-Activated paper printed using Soy-based inks.
100% Recycled FSC
The FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products that make up our custom packaging tape are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. Furthermore, the tape itself is made from 100% recycled content and is water-activated, meaning that the surface isn’t coated in wax to prevent sticking—another environmental benefit.
Water-Activated
Our packing tape is water-activated, which allows noissue to print on non-glossy/wax-coated paper. The aforementioned materials (gloss and wax) do not break down in composting conditions, nor are they biodegradable, hence why having water-activated paper tape is a positive for packaging sustainably. You can use a water activated tape dispenser or the sponge provided to activate the stickiness of the tape!
Soy-based Inks
